SJ Webdev Services is an independent web design and development studio founded in 2020 by Sherwin Galindo. We design and hand-code custom websites, landing pages, ecommerce stores and redesigns for small businesses, and we provide SEO foundations and ongoing maintenance after launch.
Where is SJ Webdev Services based and who do you work with?
Most of our clients are restaurants, pubs, salons and service businesses in Bucks County and the greater Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania, and we work remotely with businesses anywhere in the United States.
What makes a hand-coded website better than a WordPress or Wix site?
A hand-coded site has no theme bloat, plugins or database, so it loads faster, scores higher on Core Web Vitals, is far harder to hack and never breaks because of an automatic update. You also own plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript files you can host anywhere.
How much does a custom website cost?
Pricing depends on scope. A focused landing page sits at the lower end, a multi-page business website in the middle, and ecommerce or custom functionality at the top. Every quote is fixed before work begins, and the first consultation is free.
How long does it take to build a website?
A landing page usually takes a few days. A multi-page business website typically takes one to three weeks, depending on how quickly content and feedback come back.
Do you handle SEO as part of website design?
Yes. Every site ships with semantic HTML, clean metadata, an XML sitemap, Schema.org structured data and fast load times, which are the technical foundations search engines and AI assistants rely on. Ongoing SEO campaigns are available as a separate service.
